Returns & Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Kabuto Katana purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, here is how to return or exchange a product.

14-day return period

You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to request a return. After these 14 days have passed, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Conditions for a return

For a return to be possible, items must be unused, unopened and in the same condition as received, in their original packaging. For reasons of health and hygiene protection, opened cosmetic products whose seal has been removed after delivery cannot be returned pursuant to § 18(1)(5) FAGG – unless they are defective.

How to start a return

Send us an e-mail at service@kabuto.at with your order number and the items you wish to return. We will reply within one business day with a return address and further instructions.

Return shipping costs

You bear the cost of return shipping, unless the return is due to an error on our part (wrong or damaged product). We recommend a trackable shipping method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will inform you by e-mail whether your refund has been approved. If approved, the purchase price will automatically be refunded to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Exchanges

We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you would like to exchange an item for the same product, please write to us at service@kabuto.at.

Damaged or incorrect items

If you receive a damaged item or the wrong product, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photos. We will cover the return shipping costs and send you the correct item as quickly as possible.

Reduced items

Items marked as “Final Sale” cannot be returned or refunded.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the following statutory right of withdrawal under the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG). A consumer is any natural person who concludes the transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods. In the case of an order of several goods within a single order that are delivered separately, the period runs from the day on which you take possession of the last item.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion / early expiry of the right of withdrawal

Pursuant to § 18 FAGG, the right of withdrawal does not exist, among others, for contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery. This applies to opened cosmetic products.
